Jyern holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Honours from the University of Nottingham. With a strong foundation in child development, learning, and behaviour, she is passionate about supporting children in reaching their fullest potential through meaningful and individualized educational experiences.
As an early intervention teacher, Jyern values the relationships she builds with the children and families she works with and believes that meaningful progress occurs when children feel understood, supported, and celebrated. She approaches each day with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children develop greater independence, confidence, and essential life skills.
She also views every interaction with her students as an opportunity for personal and professional growth. The lessons she learns from the children she teaches continually inspire her to expand her knowledge and refine her teaching practices. Witnessing a child overcome challenges, develop new abilities, and achieve important milestones brings her immense satisfaction and reinforces her passion for the field of special education.
